Trinity Access Programme

We are most fortunate to be part of the Trinity Access Programme (TAP) where we work in partnership with Trinity  to foster a college-going culture within the school. Our pupils build links with Trinity and are invited to various workshops and outreach programmes which encourage and motivate children to consider attending college in the future. These workshops vary from beekeeping to drama, science and sports to multimedia experiences, and are a great source of excitement to all attending.

We have participated in the Bookmarks Programme which has seen some of our fifth- and sixth-class pupils write and illustrate their own books over a two-month period. During that time, they received the assistance of authors, artists and children's book specialists from Trinity culminating in their own creations going on display alongside the Book of Kells and other rare books at Trinity College Dublin's famous Long Room library.

We value our connection with Trinity hugely and look forward to many more great experiences.

Ms. Sweeney
TAP Coordinator
